, In the year 2011, Ritesh started Oravel. Influenced by Ritesh’s idea, Manish Sinha from Gurgaon invested in Orawell and became a co-founder.

, Then, in 2012, Orawell received a financial boost when it received seed capital from Venture Nursery Angel, the nation’s first angel-based startup accelerator.

, When Ritesh Agarwal started Oravel.com, he was only 17 years old. Ritesh’s motive for starting this company was to provide accommodation facilities to tourists from all over the country at affordable prices.
, Orawell is a marketplace where you can find and book comfortable and affordable rooms from over 3,500 apartment and room listings at half the price of similar hotels in the same area.
, The company also operates Oyo Inns (Oyohotels.com), which offers a chain of affordable hotels.
, Ritesh Agarwal was born in Bismaktak, a small town located in southern Odisha, known for Naxalite activities. Ritesh College is dropping out. But this weakness has become his strength.
, He did his early studies at Secret Heart School, Raigad. Riteish has been heavily inspired by Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg from a young age and regards Anil Agarwal of Vedanta as his role model.
, Agarwal is the only dropout leading a team of people who have studied at IIM, IIT, HBS and the Ivy Leagues. He says that in India they make fun of dropouts.
