The patent, granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), suggests that Apple will use built-in humidity and pressure sensors to adjust the software for use in water. According to the patent application, the electronic device can be equipped with a humidity detector, which will detect the amount of humidity present in the protective cover and, when the humidity content exceeds the threshold, can determine the position of the touch based on the detection. signal through the processor.
In wet and dry mode, iPhone can switch from force input detection to accept touch input. It depends on whether the user’s finger is dry or wet. However, according to the details of the patent, the iPhone can modify the interface so that it can be used underwater. Underwater mode can essentially be used for capturing photos and recording videos. When iPhone is underwater, you can adjust details including white balance settings, ISO sensitivity, and clarity of the camera unit, as well as screen brightness.
