Great news for Paytm customers! This decision will directly benefit millions of customers.

New Delhi. Paytm Payments Bank Ltd (PPBL) said on Wednesday that it will now start issuing Visa virtual debit cards to its customers. PPBL said it aims to issue more than Rs 1 million new digital debit cards in the year 2020-21. The bank said in a statement that it is already the largest company in terms of RuPay debit card issuance and has a rapidly growing bank account base.

Customers will also be able to carry out international transactions
Visa virtual debit cards will allow your customers to make card payments at all stores. The company said that for the first time, bank customers will be able to use their Visa debit card for international transactions.

Ease of contactless payment with chip card
The bank said customers will also have the option to apply for a physical card soon. The bank said this will allow customers to make contactless payments with their chip cards.

Life insurance with a car-scooter can be done at Paytm
Earlier, Paytm Insurance Broking, a subsidiary of online payment platform company Paytm, acquired a brokerage license from the Insurance Regulation and Authority of India (IRDAI). This license will allow the company to sell insurance products to thousands of customers throughout the country. Through its 100% subsidiary PIBPL, the company will now offer insurance products in four different categories, including two-wheelers, four-wheelers, health and life. PIBPL has already partnered with 20 leading insurance companies in India and will link with more than 30 companies in the coming weeks.
