BSSC CGL 2023 Selection Process
The selection of the candidates through BSSC CGL Recruitment 2023 will be done on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the written test. BSSC written exam is divided into 02 parts i.e. Prelims and Mains exam. The BSSC preliminary exam will be of qualifying nature. Those who will qualify the preliminary exam are eligible to apply for mains exam and final selection will be done on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in BSSC CGL mains exam. BSSC will shortlist the candidates for BSSC Main Exam in the ratio of 1:5 according to the total no. No. of vacancies available.

BSSC CGL Prelims Exam Pattern
In BSSC CGL preliminary exam, candidates will have to answer questions related to General Studies, General Science and Mathematics, Logical Reasoning and Mental Ability. A total of 150 objective type questions will be asked with a weightage of 04 marks for each question. The total time duration of BSSC CGL preliminary exam is 02 hours 15 minutes. There will be negative marking of 01 mark for each mistake in the preliminary exam.
