Amazon Alexa is a great virtual assistant, but the bad news is that one of its features will be discontinued starting this week. Amazon has announced that this week, starting November 8, 2021, Amazon Alexa will no longer have access to users’ email. That is, users will not be able to link their Gmail or Microsoft account with Alexa, although the data of any other mail service provider has not been given in it. It has been said that all accounts linked to Alexa will be automatically unlinked.
Amazon said that once the feature is turned off, users will no longer be able to browse or manage their email. Amazon is also disabling the retailer’s email package tracking, but users will still be able to track Amazon deliveries with Alexa.

Through a press release, Amazon announced that Alexa customers will no longer be able to access Gmail and Microsoft email accounts starting November 8. The e-commerce giant hasn’t mentioned any other email service providers. Users will not be able to navigate or manage their email with the voice assistant.
Email routines and notifications will also be closed.
Amazon also said that email routines and email notification support in Alexi will also be discontinued. Additionally, the voice assistant will no longer support email package tracking for packages arriving from retailers outside of Amazon.
Users do not need to take any action for this change in Alexa functionality. Amazon mentioned that if the user has synced the calendar with Alexa, it will still work.
Amitabh Bachchan’s voice can be set
In August of this year, Amazon announced that users can set Amitabh Bachchan’s voice to Alexa. Amazon India charges its customers Rs 149 per year to activate this feature.
Through Amazon Alexa, users can ask Amitabh Bachchan to play music, listen to news, set alarms or get weather information.
