WhatsApp may soon bring this feature to users. WhatsApp has recently taken this step after Meta introduced its avatar store. According to TechRadar, the avatar feature was first implemented on Facebook Messenger and later on Instagram.

At the same time, according to WABetaInfo, the feature will soon allow WhatsApp users to ‘switch to avatar’ during a video call. The messaging platform will soon have a section called the Avatar Editor, which can be customized and used in chats. It is worth noting that Instagram has recently added this feature. This feature will not be limited to WhatsApp Android only, but will also be available for iOS users in the future.
