New Delhi. To facilitate access to refueling stations on Haryana’s roads and highways, the Central Government has approved the opening of 300 new petrol pumps here. If this project is implemented in the current year, there will be a gasoline pump every 10 km in the state. Currently, there are a total of 3,000 petrol pumps in Haryana.

According to a report published in Financial Express, the responsibility for opening new petrol pumps in Haryana rests with Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOC), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL).

Inauguration of 50 new CNG dispensers
Apart from 300 new gasoline pumps, there is also a proposal to open 50 new CNG pumps. After the commissioning of the new CNG pump, the number of CNG pumps in Haryana will increase to 100. The central government has given permission to open 100 CNG pumps. However, this year 50 CNG dispensers of this type will be inaugurated.

>> You need to be an Indian citizen to open a petrol pump. Also, for this, the age limit must be between 21 and 60 years old and the education must be completed at least up to the 10th standard. An announcement is made in the newspaper about the opening of the company’s gasoline pump.

>> In this all the terms, conditions are mentioned. Anyone who meets these rules can apply online for the grant on the website of the company in question. After this, company officials inspect. The Ministry of Petroleum can prohibit the opening of gasoline pumps.

, The first terrain requirement is to open a gas pump. There must be at least 1,200 to 1,600 square meters of land on the state or national highway. At the same time, if you are opening gas stations in urban areas, then it is necessary to have at least 800 square meters. If there is no land in your name, land can also be rented. , Even if there is land in the name of a family member, a gas pump dealer can still be applied for. If there is agricultural land, then it has to be converted. All documents related to the land, including the map of the property, are seen by the NOC company officer during the inspection.
